Abstract: In this work, we report the experimental observation of the self-organization of light state of polarization in optical fiber. By means of a counter-propagating four-wave mixing based nonlinear interaction between a signal beam and a backward replica, we have observed the selfpolarization stabilization and control of a 40-Gbit/s On/Off keying signal around 1.55 µm.
