Stability of vector solitons in fiber laser and transmission-systems

Abstract: We derive an analytical description of the stability of vector solitons that propagate in fiber transmission and laser systems with bandwidth limited amplification and linear polarization coupling. We show that the perturbative results are well confirmed by the numerical simulations.
