Abstract: The quasi-cw beams counterpropagating in a polarization isotropic optical fiber were analyzed for the polarization instabilities and domain wall generations. The four mutual arrangements in the fiber helped a beam to travel spatially unchanged. Corotating circular polarized waves were immune and stable upon counterpropagation, as per the spatio-temporal stability analysis. Upon injection into the fiber, switching of polarizations led to the evolution of stable polarization domain wall (PDW) solitons.
