Abstract: The HAMSTRAD instrument is a radiometer developed by the Radiometer Physics German Company (Ricaud et al. 2010a). Its goal is to sound the troposphere in very
cold and dry environment to obtain temperature and absolute humidity profiles, together with IWV. In this work the instrument is used together with LIDAR and photometric instruments available at Concordia Station (Antarctica) in order to study polar clouds and damond dust events.
