Abstract: We report on what we believe to be the first Doppler-free polarization spectroscopy with a quantum cascade laser. A hot-band CO2 transition around 4.3 mu m wavelength has been used to test the potential of the technique for high-resolution spectroscopy and wide-bandwidth quantum cascade laser frequency stabilization.
