Dear Friends and Colleagues,

I have the sad task of informing you that Peter Werle, my friend and co-chair of the conference, has died on Sept. 6, 2013.

After the shock for this loss, I felt that the work we had started together should be completed, and in this I was supported by his family and by the persons who were already involved in the organization (members of the advisory committee, sponsors, invited speakers), to whom I'm grateful for their encouragement.

The conference was held as scheduled.

You can download our obituary for him.
